Our Bungalow is a 700 s.f. Walk-out garden level private space with private entrance across the road from scenic Standley Lake. 10 miles to Denver, Boulder and hiking trails along the front range of the Rockies, within 1.5 miles to restaurants and shopping. It is located in a nice quiet upscale neighborhood close to a beautiful park with abundant walking and bike trails. We have two friendly Westy Terriers on the property. The space is well-appointed with cooking essentials, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher, full-sized refrigerator and stove-top. A short-stay supply of coffee and tea are provided and there are spices and condiments for cooking. The bathroom is has a shower, sink and toilet, equipped with towels, soap, shampoo and hair-dryer and other essentials are stocked. The living area is roomy with sectional couch, recliner and TV equipped with Netflix for movie watching. The bedroom has a deluxe king-sized bed and can be darkend completely if desired, has easy access closet and wonderful lighting. The ENTRANCE is through the gate on the east side of the house, private and easy to access with a few stone steps that drop down to a concrete patio equipped with lawn chairs and porch swing in a peaceful yard setting. Parking is on the street, EAST side of the driveway.

During your stay we will be close-by and available for any needs. We are always quick to respond to any questions/concerns. Our goal is to make your stay as smooth and comfy as possible, so don't hesitate to ask us questions! Although we love hosting big groups, we don’t allow any type of event or party in our home. We are situated on a cozy and quiet cul-de-sac. The train to downtown Denver is only 3 miles away. Public transportation is 1/2 mile away. Ski slopes are 1.5 to 2 hours away. We live in Estes Park but use the house as our "town house" when we come to town. We live with a Golden Retriever but do not allow pets. We have a strict non smoking or illegal drug policy.

The finished basement houses the 5th bedroom with King bed, another full bathroom, laundry room (full size washer & dryer), playroom, and rec room with TV. A Queen sized air mattress is also available. Access to the whole house except Garage (there is parking in the driveway & on the street), bedroom closets & dressers. If you need anything we haven't provided, we probably have it and are happy to provide. We are centrally and conveniently located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Arvada, just minutes from the Arvada Center for Arts and Humanities, the Indian Tree Golf Course and beautiful Majestic View Park. We are 2 miles from Old Towne Arvada and the new light rail station with service to downtown Denver or a 20 minute drive, and nearly the same driving distance to Boulder and Golden. If you are working at Interlocken or Broomfield, we are even closer. We have a dog and a cat, but please, don’t bring your pets. The family room has seating for 6-8, there is a leather couch, loveseat and oversized chair that all recline. We have a 65" 4K television for your viewing pleasure, complete with DVD/Blueray and surround sound. We leave a selection of movies for you as well. The beds have new linens included heated mattress pads for the cooler nights. Each room has hanging space and shelves/dressers so your aren't living out of a suitcase! The bathrooms will have hair dryers, fresh towels and cloths. Please enjoy the jaccuzi tub! There is an open loft and many places throughout the house for some alone time and areas for family/group togetherness. The lower level has another family room where there are games, puzzles and toys for the young and the young at heart, including chips for Hold Em'. There is an additional TV and DVD player as well. Our house is perfect if you're looking for lots of space. The yard is our OASIS. We have a pond with a fountain that is very relaxing during the warmer months. The hot tub is available year round. There is plenty of seating around the fireable and the fire pit . There is a gas grill to cook on. The fire pit is for charcoal only for your samore's or roasted marshmallows and the marshmallow sticks are on the patio! The patio has a firetable as well. There are plenty of grassy areas! There are chase lounges out back in case sleeping outside under the stars sounds good! We have an evaporative cooling system instead of central air. It keeps the house very cool while maintaining air quality and efficiency as they do a better job with Colorado weather. Guest access You may access the entire house with the exception of a few cabinets, closets, garage , one room and the deck off the upper level. We are walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, movie theater, skating rink, Butterfly Museum, and a bowing alley/family fun center. A short drive will get you to Elitchs amusement park, Water world water park, Coors Field, Sports Authority Field, Denver zoo, Adventure Golf and much much more! There are 6 golf courses that are minutes away. I have compiled a list of attractions that you will find in the book. We are less than a mile away from Highway 36 which will take you directly to I-25 and the 1-70 corridors. We also have easy access to the toll roads. We are minutes to downtown Denver and minutes to the Boulder Area. We are in a great location to get anywhere you need to be! We keep our home in great condition as I am sure you have read in our reviews. Our home has been compared to an upscale hotel the size of a house by our guests! You can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the fire table or fire pit in our beautiful back yard. We are in a great area with many things to do very close by, some are within walking distance! We want you to enjoy our home as much as we do~ You may access the entire house with the exception of a few cabinets, closets, garage and one room. Our upstairs deck off the upper loft has pending repairs and we ask that you not go up the deck stairs or go out from the loft. We have a double driveway and since we live on a corner there’s additional parking in front and on the side of the house. Our neighborhood is very quiet, as is the street we live on.
